First Alarm Assignment

First alarm includes house trailers and detached garages. Special Service = Aerial Unit, Rescue Squad, or Rescue Engine with Special Service attributes. Assignments are based on order of dispatch, not order of arrival.
Other assignments

Rapid Intervention Dispatch (RID)

1 Engine, 1 Special Service, 1 Ambulance, 1 EMS Supervisor

Tanker Task Force

1 Engine, 4 Tankers — at least 1 Heavy Duty Tanker (3000 GWT or greater)

Fire Task Force

2 Engines, 1 Aerial Unit, 1 Rescue Squad, 1 Air Unit, 1 Canteen Unit

Second Alarm

5 Engines, 1 Rescue Squad, 1 Aerial Unit, 1 Special Service, 1 Air Unit, 1 Canteen Unit, Fire Investigator — regardless of structure type or water supply

Additional Alarms (3rd, 4th…)

4 Engines, 1 Aerial Unit, 1 Special Service

No units have specific duties for this fire type — standard responsibilities apply.
